Role overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer focused data and insight analyst. This exciting new role will be instrumental in delivering reporting, analysis, insight and recommendations that influence strategy, increase organisational effectiveness and performance, and build our understanding of our wide range of supporters.
Skills, qualifications and experience
As the successful candidate, you will have substantial experience of using reporting and analysis to influence senior fundraising colleagues and improve strategy business performance.
In addition you will have:
* Demonstrable ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data and present it visually.
* Knowledge of PowerBI
* Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, reporting and analysis
* Substantial knowledge of database/ CRM systems such as Raisers Edge, BlueVenn and Salesforce.
* Strong statistical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
* Excellent knowledge of data protection and recent regulations and legislation related to data use.
* Knowledge of the principles of database marketing, and an understand of statistical techniques.
Desirable:
* An understanding of charity sector codes of conduct/ best practice and how these impact on data management.
* Project Management skills.
* Experien ce of working on CRM/ database migrations.
* Experience of using data visualisation tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of Access.
