Voice of Youth Project Lead

Role overview
This is an exciting role that you can improve the capacity of youth-led CSOs (YLCs), empower youth as agents of change, and support them in demanding an enabling environment to participate in Thailand’s development and governance. Your role will ensure Voice of Youth project is implemented to the highest standards; effectively manage Project team, budgets, activities, risk and donor reporting and accountability processes.
Knowledge/qualifications:
* Qualification in project management (PMD Pro, Prince II, PMP) and/or international development and /or equivalent experience
Experience:
* Substantial experience in managing grants and contracts preferably EU and DFID grant funded project (at least GBP 400,000 per annum) within the international development sector
* Experience in youth engagement, community and volunteer mobilisation with good understanding of development issues in Thailand, skills in policy and advocacy to amplify voice of young people with community participation with commitments to Social Inclusion & Gender, Social Accountability and Resilience integration in programming
* Experience of building and managing a high performing multi-cultural dispersed project team of staff, volunteers and partners
* Experience in working in and leading partners hips and consortia
* Experience in security and risk management, and in managing duty of care to highest international standards
This is a national hire post under national terms and conditions. RIGHT TO WORK IN THAILAND IS REQUIRED. We will not be able to obtain visa and work permit to non-Thai nationals.
