Role overview The established VSO Major Gifts Fundraising Internship covers all aspects of our fundraising work with wealthy individuals. Your role will include researching prospective donors and writing passionate communications that motivate donors to support the fight against poverty.
We have two high-profile cultivation events that you will be supporting, with celebrities and notable public figures attending.
Skills, qualifications and experience required You will have a 'can do' attitude, decent IT skills (Microsoft Office) and database experience is desirable (we use the industry standard Raiser's Edge). You will need excellent English communication skills and be capable of building professional relationships with everyone from the Chief Executive and Trustees to international staff.
This is an unpaid position, though reasonable lunch and travel expenses will be reimbursed by VSO. Candidates MUST have the right to work in the UK
