Role overview
To provide support to VSO’s Program Managers in participatory approaches and transformational programme design, and methodological support in social exclusion and/or gender analysis. Additional support in other areas may be needed, such as power, stakeholder mapping and systems approaches to development.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Minimum of a university degree in social sciences
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
