South Sudan: LOGISTICS ASSISTANT - WAREHOUSE POLISH HUMANITARIAN ACTION SOUTH SUDAN

PAH in South Sudan is looking for a Logistics Assistant. The person will hold the following responsibilities:

· Raise goods Received Note (GRN) for all items received

· Complete stock cards for items received and dispatched from PAH Storage facilities

· Update stock database immediately on receipts and dispatches of stock

· Ensure that a waybill is completed for all goods dispatched

· Conduct regular spot checks on PAH materials

· Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.

· Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to the logistics coordinator

· Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labeling supplies

· Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control

· Ensure that storerooms and warehouses are kept clean and tidy at all times

· Any other duty assigned by the supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications.

· Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management

· Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment

· Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management

· Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time

· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent in stores management, business administration, logistics and procurement management or any other related field

· 2+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping

· Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25kgs, and occasionally up to 50kgs
