Community Mobilization and Engagements:
The volunteer will facilitate the mapping and planning, to mobilize and engage disabled and CSO community with the help of the Department of Rehabilitation. S/he will facilitate the planning and implementation of the survey, review and advise on policy change to support disability inclusion, and help review previous research and analysis on disability under the technical supervision of the International disability survey advisor.
Partner Organisation Engagement:
The volunteer will liaise and engage with relevant staff at Department of Rehabilitation on VSO’s approach to disability and social inclusion, and carry out capacity assessment of the departments and facilitate the engagement of DPOs and civil society organization to contribute towards building the proper understanding and engagement of inclusive and disabled society.
Event and training facilitation and arrangement
The volunteer will contribute to the contextualisation, design, and translation of materials regarding awareness of the disability survey and will facilitate and help the process including logistical and financial process together with International advisor and Department of Rehabilitation.
Reporting
* Ensure monthly activity report for DSW reporting and send quarter report to highlight key achievement and challenges
* Develop and participate in conducting inspiring case story and success story
* Provide inputs and information to annual and biannual review
Stakeholder Mapping
The volunteer will contribute to identifying and mapping DPOs and civil society organisations in target regions who can support and/or complement Department of Rehabilitation and VSO disability and inclusive priorities and activities to strengthen awareness of the national disability survey and to support and facilitate on the disability action plan and commitments including CRPD. This could involve establishing functional linkages with development partners and government line agencies working in relevant areas.
