Role overview This is a new role within VSO which will provide critical leadership and development of VSO's engagement and leadership strategies, taking VSO's volunteering for development approach to the next level, amplifying our impact by providing key platforms for people across the VSO network to engage, learn and take action on key issues relating to the sustainable development goals and influencing other players in the development sector to take up a volunteering for development approach.

Skills, qualifications and experience required Extensive experience in international development or a related relevant area Proven experience as a senior leader at an operational level in an INGO on programming, strategy development and implementation Experience of managing large change projects across multiple locations/countries Experience of working with donors including government funders, and independent foundations *Commitment to VSO's vision, purpose and values

This role could be based in any of the VSO offices. Applicants must have right to work in one of the VSO offices for this position. We will be unable to obtain a visa and work permit for those who do not have the right to work.
